At 1534 hours the alarm was struck out for a building fire in the area of Glen Riddle rd. and Brandywine Dr. in our local. T-50 went on location with heavy smoke showing of a 2 story SFD. Crews from E54 and T-50 made entrance to the home but were slowed slighty by the near 3 feet of snow in the front yard and extremely heavy smoke conditions inside, after advancing a hose line into the house the first in crew met up with 69-9s crew in the kitchen area and had heavy fire above them in the attic space. As the crew started pulling the ceiling to expose the fire the Evac tones were ordered by 50-9 and crews switched to exterior operations. the Township companies along with 72,40,47,65,45, M104-7 and 52 were in service for approx. 5 hours.
